Professional writing tutors are available to assist students with writing assignments.
Assignments may come from any discipline in the College, not just English courses.
The tutors give suggestions on grammar and syntax, as well as organization and content.
Students are accommodated on a drop-in basis or by appointment. To help tutors understand
an assignment, students should bring as much information as possible about the assignment.
The Writing Center is located in the Vanderlyn Building, Room 247, and the hours are
Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Hours are announced and posted at the
