(There are two routes from the south. If you get off the Thruway at New Paltz, Exit 18, the trip is about 10 miles shorter, but possibly confusing to those not familiar with the area. The other option is to get off the Thruway at Kingston, Exit 19, for a more direct route. Both routes are listed below.)
Easiest Route, From Exit 19, Kingston:
From the New York State Thruway Kingston toll plaza (Exit 19), take your first right
onto Route 28 West, continue a short distance and get onto Route 209 South. Take Route

1/4 mile. The main entrance to the College will be on your right.
Shorter Route, From Exit 18, New Paltz:
Get off at Exit 18, New Paltz, and go through the toll booth to the "T" intersection
of Route 299. Make a left (west) towards New Paltz. Make a right onto Route 32 North.
Continue north, about 7 miles over two small bridges, to the intersection of Route
213 West, in Rosendale. Make a left onto Route 213 West (Main Street, Rosendale) and
continue 1.8 miles, and make a right onto County Road 26A, Cottekill Road. (There
is a sign for the College at this intersection.) Continue up the hill to the "T" in
the road and make a left. (You will still be on Cottekill Road.) Go about 1/4 mile
to the Stop sign, then straight across the intersection of Lucas Avenue, and continue
