The Macdonald DeWitt Library is situated at the geographical center of the Stone Ridge
campus. Its information resources include a wide variety of print and electronic materials
including; books, journals, films and images. Students can access all electronic resources
remotely via the Library tab on the Portal.
Reference librarians are available to assist students with their research projects in person when the library is open and via chat 24/7. Wireless access is available to students in the library for use with personal or loaner laptops. The library has individual and group study spaces.
During the academic semester, the Library is open from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday; 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Friday; and 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Holiday, summer, and intersession hours are announced and posted. The general public is welcome to use the library collection. Use of electronic resources and borrowing print materials require a SUNY Ulster library/ID card. Ulster County residents may obtain a library card upon request at no charge.
