As a not-for-profit 501 (c) 3 organization, the Foundation will acknowledge your contribution as a tax-deductible charitable gift. Your donation will support the Foundation in its mission to assist the college with enhanced technology, academic and cultural programs, and to provide scholarships to SUNY Ulster students.
Through the generosity of the many friends of the Foundation and the College, and under the auspices of the Foundation Board of Directors, the Ulster Community College Foundation, Inc. has developed into a thriving organization with six million dollars in assets. The scholarship funds constitute the most significant part of the endowment, making Ulster's scholarship program one of the most prominent among community colleges in New York State.

Giving Options

Help support the Foundation's commitment to assist the college with funding for technology, arts curriculum, cultural enhancement and other critical needs as they arise to continue to provide the very best opportunities to Ulster's students and the community.
Technology and Academic Programs
You may choose to direct a gift to assist SUNY Ulster with the an ongoing need for
funding technological improvements and academic programming in order to continue to
support students with cutting edge technology and to provide a dynamic curriculum
for the changing needs of industry and the community.
Arts Curriculum and Cultural Events
Your gift can be applied help support Ulster's commitment to enhance arts curriculum
and to bring cultural opportunities of enrichment to our students and to the citizens
of our region.
Planned Giving
In addition to outright gifts of money or stock, you may choose a planned gift.
- Charitable Gift Annuities
Charitable Gift Annuities provide the annuitant/donor with an opportunity to make a charitable gift and receive an immediate income tax deduction and a guaranteed stream of income either for a specified period of time or for life. The total assets of the Foundation guarantee the payments made to the annuitant. The College Foundation currently has assets in excess of $6 million. - Charitable Bequests
Charitable bequests enable individuals to make larger gifts than they may have been able to during their lifetime and have become a popular form of charitable giving. You may leave a bequest to the Ulster Community College Foundation, Inc. by stipulating a specific sum or a percent of your residuary estate.
Scholarships
Several scholarship giving options are available. Whether you are interested in establishing
a scholarship to honor an individual, promote study in a particular curriculum, or
contribute to an already established scholarship fund. Foundation staff members are
available to discuss your options. Your gift can help secure the dream of a college
education for the next generation.
Naming Opportunities
Named-giving options are available that include engraved pavers for the Dewitt Library
Courtyard and theater seat name plaques for the John C. Quimby Theater.
Engraved Stone Pavers
The newly landscaped Stone Ridge campus offers the unique opportunity to give a gift
of an engraved stone paver in the Macdonald Dewitt Library Courtyard that will continue
to benefit Ulster students far into the future while expressing your personal support
for the College or recognizing a loved one.
Theater Seat Name Plaques
Named-giving options are also available including engraved theater seat name plaques
for the John C. Quimby Theater. The newly renovated theater provides students an opportunity
to pursue their interest in theater arts as well as providing performances, ceremonies
and lectures for the community. Theater seat plaques are a wonderful way to express
a special sentiment in Honor of or In Memory of a friend, alumni or a loved one. To
