
Education - Adolescence 7th-12th Grade: Mathematics & Science A.A.
Become a positive role model for middle and high school students by earning an Associate
of Arts Degree, Mathematics & Science, in Adolescence Education. Learn the tools needed
to establish a strong foundation in the art of teaching and gain a broad base of knowledge
in the concentration of your choice – either Biology or Mathematics. Every student
receives individual advisement to facilitate their transfer to a four-year college
or university.
ASSOCIATE IN ARTS
After SUNY Ulster
This program is designed for students who want to transfer to a four-year college
or university to earn their four-year degree in Adolescence Education.
Employment Potential
Graduates of the program who then go on to earn a baccalaureate degree at a four-year college or university and a New York State teaching certificate will be qualified to teach one of the specialty areas at the secondary school level.
