Rolling Scholarship Applications for New, Prospective and Continuing Student Accepted Year-Round

 Current Foundation Scholarship Opportunity List

 

 

Entering/Prospective Students

To be eligible for an entering scholarship you must have completed less than 12 credit hours and be formally matriculated into a program of study at SUNY Ulster by July 31, 31, of the current year.

Complete and submit an application prior to the deadline or contact The Foundation Office at 845-687-5283.


Returning/Current Students

To be eligible for continuing student scholarships you must have completed 12 credits at SUNY Ulster by May 31, of the current year and plan to enroll for classes for Summer Session or the upcoming Fall and Spring academic year.

Complete and submit an application prior to the deadline.

 

Transferring Students

To be eligible for transferring scholarships you must have completed 60 credit hours, of which 35 credits must have been completed at SUNY Ulster by May 31, 2020 and you must plan to transfer to a four year college during the upcoming Fall and Spring academic year.

Continuing & Professional (CE/Non-Credit) Scholarships

SUNY Ulster Continuing & Professional Education (CE/Non Credit) students are eligible for special scholarships. Those studying CNC, Machine Design & Production, Advanced Manufacturing and Building Science are eligible for The JFC Breathe Free Foundation in Memory of Joseph F. Clausi Scholarship and the Gene Haas Scholarship.  All others are eligible for the Dr. Rosanne Yetzer Continuing Education Scholarship and the Continuing Education Tuition Support Fund.  Apply via this Continuing Education (CE/Non Credit) Application.
 
Complete and submit the application which is open year round and will be evaluated on a continuous basis. 

 

Award Notification

All continuing and transferring scholarship applicants will receive an email notification in April.  Recipients are required to write thank you letters to their donors and attend a scholarship award ceremony in May. New student scholarships award letters will be sent in August and September for a ceremony in November.
