Boost your earning power with a free Associate's degree in a high-demand field. SUNY RECONNECT  covers tuition, fees, books, and supplies after all other financial aid is applied.

Adults aged 25 to 55 who:

  • Resident of New York State or receive in-state tuition eligibility

  • Have no college degree

  • Must fiile a FAFSA, TAP, or the NYS DREAM Act

  • Advanced Manufacturing A.O.S.

  • Computer Science A.S. 

  • Engineering A.S.

      • Aeronautical, Civil, Industrial, Mechanical, & Nuclear 

      • Chemical

      • Computer

      • ElectricalGreen building Maintenance & Management A.A.S.

  • Environmental Studies

  • Network Administrator A.A.S.

  • Nursing A.S.

  1. Apply to SUNY Ulster choosing one of the above programs of your choice.

  2. File your FAFSA. Our financial aid specialists are available to help.

  3. Apply for scholarships from our Foundation. One simple application automatically applies you to all applicable scholarships.

  4. Take the Entering Student Assessment Tests.

  5. Register for classes.

The cost of your tuition, fees, supplies, and books beyond what you receive from financial aid and scholarships will be covered by SUNY RECONNECT to bring your cost down to $0.
