Chief's Welcome Message
On behalf of the SUNY Ulster Department of Public Safety, welcome to SUNY Ulster!
I am honored to serve as the Director of Public Safety and am proud to be part of
this dedicated Public Safety team. Every member of the team serves this college community
and we are committed to providing a safe and secure environment for our students,
faculty, staff, and administration, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All of our Public
Safety Peace Officers are responsible not only for the safety of our campus community,
but also for upholding federal, state and local laws, including SUNY Ulster’s rules
and regulations. Our department also works collaboratively with Ulster County, New
York State, and Federal agencies to provide services and resources to the community.
You are always welcome to stop into the Public Safety office to get resources, ask
for help or just to say hello
I look forward to seeing you all!
Patricia Vincent
Director of Public Safety
