Summer session offers SUNY Ulster students and visiting students a chance to complete a challenging course, get a requirement out of the way, advance your degree, or explore a new interest. Earn three credits and still have plenty of time for summer fun or a summer job.
Online or on-campus day and evening courses

In County tuition: $236/credit
Out-of-County Tuition: $472/credit

Certificate of Residence
Students who are residents of NY State, but not Ulster County will be required to submit a Certificate of Residence in order to be eligible for the in-county tuition rate. The Certificate of Residence is due within 30 days of the start of the semester otherwise the tuition will be double. Download your application.
Financial Aid
Year-Round Pell legislation makes an additional semester of Pell grant funding available for the summer for qualified students. To be eligible for these additional Pell Grant funds, you must be otherwise eligible to receive a Pell Grant for the summer payment period. Please note that summer awards will vary based on number of credits and which summer sessions are attended.
