Carly-Ann Fergus is an innovation ecosystem builder who served as the Director of XRC Labs, a retail tech accelerator launched in partnership with Parsons School of Design at The New School. As Director, Carly-Ann helped to select the portfolio startups, and connected them with corporate partners, resources, and industry experts to accelerate their businesses. With a multifaceted career in the fashion industry, her work experience spans from established companies such as Tommy Hilfiger, to startup brands such as Nahm.
Carly-Ann’s keynote talk, The Transformative Power of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, will highlight her career journey in fashion and how she found her purpose in the industry. Being open to change brought her to the intersection of retail, fashion, and technology giving her a new perspective on the fashion system and the ways in which it needed to innovate and move forward.
Carly-Ann will offer attendees tips based on lessons learned about entrepreneurship from her experience running the startup accelerator program such as the keys to launching a successful startup as well as common pitfalls founders make when launching and running a business.
