This course is an exploration of digital media as a means for self-expression and sociopolitical empowerment. Students will learn to identify common elements of digital stories and analyze how story creators utilize digital tools, platforms, and interfaces to add interactivity to their narratives. Learn digital storytelling tools to create narratives in a variety of interactive formats. This course focuses on interactive and multi-platform digital media such as web television and video, podcasting, animation, social media storytelling, interactive journalism, and infographics.
