This course is a comprehensive review for students wanting to receive their High School Equivalency Diploma. Students will prepare to take the Test Assessing Secondary Completion (TASC™). This test replaced the GED® test for New York State in 2014. The focus of the classes will be on reading/writing, science, social studies, and, mathematics. TASC™ testing is determined by pre-test scores and instructor recommendation. Students may require more than one session of preparation prior to testing. This class will include homework. The required book for this course is TASC Prep Fourth Edition with 2 Practice Tests by Kaplan.
