Designed for the non-science major, this course provides an introduction to the Earth's weather and climate systems. Topics covered include the Earth-Sun system, the structure and composition of the Earth’s atmosphere, global circulation patterns, severe weather, Earth's climate systems and global climate change. Due to overlap of material, this course may not be taken for credit by students who take GEG 101.
