This is a hands-on studio course focused on creating original stop-motion animations. Students will be introduced to the history, techniques, and tools essential for stop-motion animation. In addition to practical skills, we will explore the principles of animation through basic exercises, how to plan and time animations, and the history of the art form. The course will utilize Dragonframe, a Stop Motion program with a traditional setup using a Camera and Tripod.. Experience with these software packages is not required.
