Camp Ulster

SUNY Ulster has been offering children’s summer programs for over 25 years! Prepare yourself for a summer full of excitement, friends, and knowledge as you participate in our various specialty camps.

Camps are held on both of our campuses. Most are on the main campus in Stone Ridge, consisting of 165 acres of sloping meadowland and apple orchards, and offering majestic views of the Catskill Mountains to the west and the Shawangunks to the south. And some are held at Kingston Center of SUNY Ulster (formally Sophie Finn Elementary), our extension site nestled between Kingston High School and HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley's Mary's Ave Campus (formally Benedictine Hospital).

College for Kids & Teens

College for Kids and Teens offers a variety of noncredit courses, primarily in the spring and fall semesters, for kids, pre-teens and teens, with or without their parent(s) enrolling in the course. Courses are designed for academic improvement and personal enrichment.

Types of courses include: test preparation, music, art, fitness, sports, and language. Classes are conveniently scheduled for afternoons, evenings and weekends at the Stone Ridge campus, at the Kingston Center of SUNY Ulster and at off campus locations.

Test Prep

SAT Preparation - Get ready to take the SAT! Our Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) preparation courses include all the materials and information your child will need to perform well on the SAT exam in a classroom or online.

High School Equivalency/TASC - This course is a comprehensive review for students wanting to receive their High School Equivalency Diploma. Students will prepare to take the Test Assessing Secondary Completion (TASC™). This test replaced the GED® test for New York State in 2014.
