January 26, 2022 ACCT Search Consultant facilitates a series of virtual and/or in-person open forums (Administrators, Staff, Faculty, Students, Community members invited to attend) to solicit feedback to inform the development of the draft Presidential Profile. Electronic survey distributed to solicit feedback to assist with the development of the Presidential Profile in advance of the forum date. Forum times: Noon – 1 pm and 3:00pm – 4:00 pm
January 27, 2022 Presidential Search Committee Meeting #1: Introductions, orientation, training; review and edit the draft Presidential Profile.
January 27, 2022 Special Board meeting to discuss, edit, and finalize the Presidential Profile.
Late January 2022 Presidential Profile is posted on SUNY Ulster and ACCT websites. ACCT and Search Consultant conduct targeted local, state-wide, and national one-to-one recruitment of highly competitive and diverse candidates. Advertisements placed.
March 8, 2022 Target Date for Receipt of Applications. Position open until filled.
Mid-March 2022 Presidential Search Committee Meeting #2: Presidential Search Committee meets to discuss and select confidential semifinalists.
Mid-April 2022 Search Committee Meeting #3: Presidential Search Committee meets for confidential interviews of semifinalists. Search Committee deliberates and selects finalists and forwards recommendations to Board of Trustees.
Week of April 25, 2022 Finalists visit the College for tours, participate in public forums, meet with Direct Reports, etc. Finalists interview with the full Board of Trustees. Board votes and approves the final candidate, and the confidential final candidate moves forward to SUNY for interviews/vetting.
May or June 2022 SUNY Board Meeting and Board of Trustees announces the next president of SUNY Ulster.
July 2022 Start date for next President of SUNY Ulster.
