Head Coach Justin Signorelli prepares for his third season leading the SUNY Ulster Senators Wrestling program in 2018-19. Along with his coaching duties Signorelli also serves as the Assistant Athletic Director within the Ulster Athletic Department and is an Adjunct Professor, teaching two weight training courses per semester. In just two seasons since being hired in March 2016 with the task of building the reinstated the wrestling program Signorelli has coached an Academic All-American in Mohammed Khan, led 14 wrestlers to All-District Honors including a North East District individual champion in Mike Fekishazy and has qualified 7 different wrestlers to compete at the NJCAA National Championship Tournament in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
During the 2017-18 season Ulster finished 4-7 in duals meets including twice defeating Mid-Hudson Conference and Region XV rival SUNY Sullivan. Signorelli guided the Senators to a 3rd place finish at the North East District Championships and qualified a school record 5 wrestlers to compete at the NJCAA National Championships.
In the 2016-17 season, the programs first season back since the 70's, Coach Signorelli lead the Senators to a 4-3 overall mark in dual meets. He led the Senators to a 4th place finish at the North East District Championships and had two wrestlers qualify to compete at the NJCAA National Championships.
Coach Signorelli previously was an Assistant Wrestling Coach at Highland High School for three years, leading them to their first Team Sectional Title during his tenure. Prior to coaching Justin was a collegiate wrestler and four year letter winner at NCAA D3 powerhouse SUNY Cortland, serving two of those seasons as Team Captain. In 2013 he helped lead his team to a 4th place finish at the NCAA D3 National Duals. His Red Dragon teams were consistently ranked in the top 10 in the country and he placed in many tournaments including winning the Jamestown Open. In 2013 He graduated from SUNY Cortland earning his Bachelors of the Arts in Communications.

The 2018-19 season will be Mike McCabe’s second with the Senators. He has been brought on by Head Coach Signorelli to assist with team operations and travel.
McCabe is a 2014 graduate of SUNY Ulster. He earned his Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology. Since earning his degree he has been working full time as a Vet-Tech.
A 2009 graduate of Highland High School McCabe was a standout athlete. He served as a team captain for the football, wrestling and baseball teams. On the mat he twice earned All-Section honors finishing 3rd in 2008 and 2009 at the Section 9 Division 2 Championships. His senior year he compiled 34 wins and was a MHAL Tournament finalist. McCabe also earned Second Team All-State for Class B Linebackers in NYS and his and Signorelli’s team won the Section 9 Class B championship.
Title: Volunteer Assistant Wrestling Coach
Will Parks enters his third season serving as an Assistant Wrestling Coach. Along with supporting Coach Signorelli he also is an assistant coach for the Newburgh Varsity Wrestling Team. He works in the Newburgh School District as a health teacher at South Middle School. Parks was substitute teaching and coaching wrestling in the Longwood School District in Shoreham prior to being hired in Newburgh for the 2016-17 school year.
Coach Parks earned his Bachelors in Physical Education from SUNY Cortland in 2013. He was a four year letter winner on the Red Dragon wrestling team alongside Head Coach Signorelli. He earned Academic All-American honors twice and All-State honors for placing in the NY Collegiate States Tournament his senior season.
Parks is a 2009 graduate of Longwood High School on Long Island. He was a four year member of the varsity wrestling team earning over 100 wins in that time and twice earning All-County honors for Suffolk County Division 1. He was also the Greco Roman Champion at the 2008 Empire State Games.
