DESCRIPTION: Candidate must possess a strong background in performance and dramatic literature as well as administrative experience to serve as director of AA program in Theatre Arts. The teaching load will include the following courses: Acting I, Acting II, Introduction to Theatre, Theatre Workshop, and basic speech communication. As Program Coordinator will oversee and develop curriculum, hire adjuncts and technical staff for program productions, direct two shows per year, and assist with program recruitment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master's Degree in Fine Arts; college teaching experience required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: MFA in Directing or Ph.D.; three years college teaching experience preferred. Technical theatre knowledge and/or experience highly desirable.

CHEMISTRY

This is a full-time, one-year term appointment, beginning Fall 2012. Excellent benefits package.
DESCRIPTION: The successful candidate will mainly be responsible to teach General Chemistry I and II (CHE 103/CHE 104) lecture and laboratory course sequence. Professional responsibilities include recruiting, advising, and retaining students; developing innovative uses of instructional technology and distance education; assessment of student learning; and collaborative teaching.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree in Chemistry required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Ph.D. preferred.
