As an advertising and graphics student at SUNY Ulster, you'll have the opportunity to learn an integrated approach to marketing communications that is based on actual client-designer relationships.

Gain experience interacting with clients as you develop design projects. Participate in field research to printing presses, designers, galleries and more. Get involved in professional internships, national juried competitions and visiting artist events.

This degree is recommended for students planning to transfer to a four-year school for further study in advertising, graphic design, computer graphics, package design, web design or gaming design.

Recent graduates have transferred to Cooper Union, Rhode Island School of Design, FIT, SUNY New Paltz, SUNY Purchase and School of Visual arts, among others.  Read more here.
