Artist Statement:

My name is Lexi LaCroix. I’m a young artist who finds creativity in most art mediums. I often work with Painting, Photography, Ink work. I’m constantly expanding my mediums and finding a new favorite way to use them. I’ve created many string arts, which is a combination of wood, nails and string creating a custom design.I like to have a lot of color and designs into my art. Some pieces have a lot of detail and multiple objects to look upon. I create art because it can be relaxing and satisfying. Having a finished piece and thinking of what to create next is my favorite.

After SUNY Ulster I plan to:

Transfer to a 4-year school to learn animation.
