Children's Center

The Children's Center at SUNY Ulster, providing child care for children of students, faculty, and staff, is located in a building adjacent to the Senate Gymnasium. The Center serves children aged 6 weeks through 5 years old. Hours of the Center are 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. (For information about when the Center is closed for breaks and holidays, call 687-5257.) The Center offers full year operation.

The fee schedule is listed below, but is subject to change. Contact the Center for the current charges.Your child will need to have a physical examination and proof of the necessary vaccinations and inoculations.

In order to process applications in an equitable manner, the Center maintains an active waiting list and parents are contacted in accordance with their placement on the list. All interested parents should stop in or phone to inquire about current or future openings. A limited number of full time child care slots have been approved for community use in response to the growing need for child care services within the community.

SUNY Ulster's Children's Center Fee Structure

(Effective August, 2007)

The SUNY Ulster Children's Center is licensed for operation by the Department of Social Services. This department regulates the following fee structure.

REGISTRATION FEE
Registration	$25
(This is a nonrefundable fee which includes accident insurance coverage for each child registered at the Center.)

USE RATES
Weekly Rates	Use of the Center 30 hours or more per week.
Daily Rates	Use of the Center for 6+ hours per day, less than 5 days per week, under 30 hours total per week.
Part-Day Rates	Use of the Center less than 6 hours per day.

Minimum Use Requirement is 15 Hours per Week.

The fees listed above are for students.

Faculty/Staff/Community users pay the student rate plus $10 surcharge per week.

Pre-K Wrap-Around fees are $30 per day.

A discount of 10% applies for the second child in the same family.

Rates INCLUDE Lunch.

Notice: There is a service charge of $25 on all returned checks.

The above fees were approved by the Board of Directors of Ulster Community College Association, Inc., based on the DSS notification of mandated rate changes.
