There has never been a better time to enter the nursing profession. The marketable skills, education and training you'll receive at SUNY Ulster will prepare you to enter this challenging, yet rewarding, career.

Students who successfully complete the two year Nursing program earn an Associate in Science Degree. SUNY Ulster's nursing program is fully accredited by the National League for Nursing (NLNAC).

Students

Students are our primary focus and we strive to provide consistent objectives, individualized opportunities and schedules, and academic and personal support services. Students are able to attend full- or part-time to complete the program of study.

Pre-Admission Exam

As of March 2, 2009 the Nursing Department will no longer be accepting the NLN-PAX  pre-test for admission.  A new entrance exam will be offered beginning in May 2009 for the fall 2010 Nursing courses.

Students applying for entry into SUNY Ulster's Nursing (NUR) courses must take the ATI-TEAS test (Test of Essential Academic Skills) and score at least 75%. For information about this test, click here.
