Banner Online Banner

SUNY Ulster’s Student Information System, is now available on the Web.
You can explore Banner in a point and click environment, allowing you to navigate Banner in the same manner you would any website you explore on the net.

To log into Banner Online click here.

Enter your User ID and PIN into the appropriate fields and click the Login button.

If you do not know your user name or password follow the directions on the login page.

The first time you login, you will be asked to create a login verification security question and answer.

Fill in the fields and click on the submit button. A list of selections will appear on the screen. "

The primary link for student access, Student Services & Financial Aid provides information regarding student’s class schedules, grades, financial aid, etc.

Registration:
From within this link students may access the following:

1. "Add/Drop Classes": In order to register for classes online, matriculated students must first receive a separate Advisement PIN from their advisor.

2. Display Class Schedule: To display a schedule a student must first select a term . From the drop down menu select the term for which you would like to view your schedule. This will return you to the previous menu where you can then select either or . Student Detail Schedule will display not only the days and times the class is scheduled but also instructor, location, grading method and Grade Mode.

3. "Check your Registration Status" will allow you to see whether you have any holds on your account, your academic standing, your student status regarding registration, credits earned, degree objective, major, and primary campus location. By clicking on the link at the bottom of the screen you will be able to view the details of any existing holds on your account.

"Student Records" : View your holds; Display your grades and transcripts; Review charges and Payments.

From this link students may 'View Holds", view "Midterm Grades" or , view an unofficial "Academic Transcript", or review "Account Summary by Term" or review "Account Summary".

When you connect to the Financial Aid link first click on "Select Aid Year" and select the appropriate year from the drop down menu. Upon selection of an Aid Year you will be returned to the main Financial Aid menu.

You may at that point select from the following options: "Financial Aid Messages", "Requirements", "Satisfactory Academic Progress", "Account Summary by Term", "Award by Aid year", "Award Payment Schedule" and "Award History".

For further information regarding financial aid please contact the financial aid office. The Personal Information section provides you with the ability to change your Banner online PIN as well as view and update much of your personal information stored on Banner, including your address, phone number, name or social security number change, or emergency contact information.
