Abroad Resources
Study abroad can be an enriching and eye-opening
adventure, where learning extends to the world beyond the classroom
walls. Over 80,000 American college students spend time studying in
a foreign country every year.
If you are thinking about studying abroad, the most important thing is to do your research. Talk to school officials as well as other students who have studied in the countries and at the schools you're considering. Start exploring your options by visiting these sites:

- Learn Without Borders - Worldstudy.gov introduces American
undergrad and grad students to the benefits of studying outside
the U.S. and provides information about the David L. Boren
Scholarship/Fellowship program, which provides significant

- Bureau of Educational
and Cultural Affairs (US Dept of State) - The Bureau of Educationaland
Cultural Affairs provides numerous resources to foster mutual
understanding through international education and training. This

Students (US Dept of State) - A word to the wise from the
folks at the State Department. To have a safe trip, become familiar
with the basic laws and customs of the country you plan to visit
before you travel and avoid reckless behavior.
