For books on individual topics, search by subject or keyword in Catalist, SUNY Ulster's Online Catalog. In the catalog, you will find both Reference books, for use in the Library, and books in the general collection, which may be checked out.
Books at Other Libraries
If you don't find the books you need in Catalist, you may use the SENY Virtual Union Catalog to access online catalogs for most academic libraries in the region or use the WorldCat database to locate more books on your topic. To request a needed book from another library, visit the Reference Desk in the Library and fill out an InterLibrary Loan Request form.

The Macdonald DeWitt Library has electronic access to journal articles through subscription databases. For example, in the general databases, Academic Search Premier contains many full text science journals, and in the specialized databases, Science Direct contains full-text to many more.
