The Library Media Room
The Library Media Room, located in DEW 017 (with access from inside the library, as well as from the hallway of Burroughs Hall), is a great place for faculty to use as a media classroom.
This multimedia viewing room is equipped with an LCD projector and the projected image is quite large, filling almost the entire wall. One computer is available with a hookup to the Internet and to an LCD projector for on screen viewing. A combination VCR/DVD player, also connected to the LCD projector, is at your disposal for viewing videotapes and DVD's. A cable television feed is also available, with approximately 50 channels, including the History Channel, C-Span, CNN and HBO. The Library has a growing collection of DVD's, including feature films, classics, and documentaries, and also has some music CD's at the Circulation Desk. Library staff members are available to assist faculty members with the equipment.
