SUNY Ulster - Interlibrary Loan

Interlibrary Loan

We can obtain books and copies of periodical articles for you from other libraries if it is not in the Macdonald Dewitt Library collection.
This is done through ILLiad, Macdonald DeWitt's Interlibrary Loan service.

  • This service is available to current SUNY Ulster students, faculty and staff only. Status will be checked in the campus information database.
  • It takes 2 weeks on average for us to receive the book or article you request through ILLiad, so calculate whether or not you have sufficient time to make use of the requested materials for your project.
  • If you are registered for classes on the Stone Ridge Campus, books & articles must be picked up at the Macdonald DeWitt Library. If you are registered for classes at the BRC, or you are taking an online course and are unable to come to the library, call a Reference Librarian (845-687-5208) to discuss other arrangements for picking up your requested material.
  • Please limit your requests to no more than five items. If you require more than this, contact a Reference Librarian at 845-687-5208.
  • Occasionally, charges are incurred for Interlibrary Loan material(s) and these charges are to be paid by the requestor when the material is picked up. Please be sure to indicate on the form the amount of money you are willing to pay for requested material(s).
