Academic Search™ Premier
Academic Search Premier contains indexing for over 8,200 publications, with full text for nearly 4,700, some back to 1975. Full text coverage includes biology, chemistry, engineering, physics, psychology, religion & theology, etc.

AccessScience
AccessScience provides science reference materials—online and fully searchable. The database offers access to all the articles, fully illustrated, from the latest edition of the McGraw-Hill Encyclopedia of Science & Technology, Research Updates from the McGraw-Hill Yearbooks, thousands of illustrations, and the latest Science News® headlines, biographies, and more. This online encyclopedia is tailored to researchers and students looking for relevant, readable, and trusted sources of information.

America: History & Life
This database provides abstracts of scholarly literature on the history and culture of the United States and Canada from prehistoric times to the present.

ArtStor
Search the ArtStor database to locate art images. The ARTstor Library's initial content will include approximately 300,000 images covering art, architecture and archeology.

Business and Company Resource Center includes company profiles, brand information, rankings, investment reports, company histories, chronologies and periodicals. Search this database to find detailed company and industry news and information.

Business Source® Premier
Business Source Premier provides the full text for more than 9,200 serials, back to 1965. Additional full text content includes market research reports, industry reports, country reports, company profiles and SWOT analyses.

Catalist, SUNY Ulster's Online Catalog

CINAHL® Plus with Full Text
CINAHL Plus with Full Text provides full text for 391 journals from the fields of nursing and allied health, indexing for 3,123 with coverage dating as far back as 1937, plus legal cases, clinical innovations, critical paths, drug records, research instruments and clinical trials.

Country Watch
CountryWatch provides up-to-date information and news on 191 countries including political, economic, and business information, daily news and data.

Criminal Justice Periodical Index (CJPI)
CJPI can provide information on criminal justice topics, including corrections administration, law enforcement, social work, industrial security, drug rehabilitation, and criminal and family law. The database offers full text coverage for about 50 titles and also includes complete indexing and abstracts for another 140 relevant U.S. and international journals.

Custom Newspapers
InfoTrac Custom Newspapers - offers over 150 full-text newspapers, which include 7 New York State newspapers and the New York Times, which is indexed in full text for the full current year.

Ebsco's MasterFILE Select
Provides full text for over 760 periodicals covering nearly all subjects including general reference, business, health, and much more.

Education Resource Complete
Education Research Complete
is an online resource for education research. Topics covered include all levels of education from early childhood to higher education, and all educational specialties, such as multilingual education, health education, and testing. Education Research Complete provides indexing and abstracts for more than 1,500 journals, as well as full text for more than 750 journals, and includes full text for more than 100 books and monographs, and for numerous education-related conference papers.

ERIC - Educational Resources
ERIC, the Educational Resource Information Center, provides full text of more than 2,200 digests along with references for additional information and citations and abstracts from over 1,000 educational and education-related journals.

The FirstSearch Basic Package offers approximately 12 databases including WorldCat, ERIC, Medline, NetFirst and more.

Gale Virtual Reference Library
Gale Virtual Reference Library is a database of encyclopedias, almanacs, and specialized reference sources for multidisciplinary research.

GeoRef
This database, from the American Geological Institute, includes over 2.2 million references to all publications of the U.S. Geological Survey, geoscience journal articles, books, maps, conference papers, reports Masters' theses and doctoral dissertations from U.S. and Canadian universities. The GeoRef database covers the geology of North America from 1785 to the present and the geology of the rest of the world from 1933 to the present.

GPO - Government Printing Office
Use this database from the US Government Printing Office to find citations for US government documents from 1976 to the present.

GreenFILE

GreenFILE includes information covering all aspects of human impact to the environment. Its collection of scholarly, government and general-interest titles includes content on global warming, green building, pollution, sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, recycling, and more. The database contains nearly 300,000 records, full text for selected titles and searchable cited references for more than 200 titles as well.

HarpWeek is the full-text, full-image electronic version of Harpers Weekly. Ulster's access covers the Civil War segment including the years 1857-1865.

Health and Wellness Resource Center and Alternative Health Module
This database includes information from magazines, journals, newspapers and other sources on alternative and complementary medicine and therapies, including topics such as nutrition, diet, diseases, fitness, public health, occupational health, alcohol and drug abuse, prescription drugs, and herbal remedies. 1980-current year

Health Reference Center Academic
Use this database to find current health information. Includes full-text information from medical pamphlets, reference books, dictionaries and consumer health magazines from 1995 to the present.

HighWire Library of the Sciences and Medicine
Free, full-text of over 600,000 articles from important, peer-reviewed journals in the biological sciences, medical sciences, physical and social sciences produced by HighWire Press, a division of the Stanford University Libraries.

Historical Abstracts
This database provides English-language abstracts of scholarly literature on the history of the world from 1450 to the present (excluding North America)

NEW! The Historical New York Times – This database includes The New York Times from 1851-2004.  The newspaper is reproduced, cover-to-cover, in full-page digital images—from news stories and editorials to graphics and advertisements.

History E-Book Project
The History E-Book Project is an online, fully searchable collection of books in history, recommended and reviewed by historians. The Project is available 24/7 on- and off-campus through standard web browsers. The ACLS History E-Book Project was initially funded by a grant from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.

MasterFILE™ Premier
MasterFILE Premier contains full text for more than 1,950 periodicals covering general reference, business, health, education, general science, multicultural issues, full text for nearly 500 reference books, 84,011 biographies, 83,472 primary source documents, and an Image Collection of 192,999 photos, maps & flags.

 

MEDLINE
MEDLINE provides authoritative medical information on medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, the health care system, pre-clinical sciences, and much more. Created by the National Library of Medicine, MEDLINE uses MeSH (Medical Subject Headings) indexing with tree, tree hierarchy, subheadings and explosion capabilities to search citations from over 4,800 current biomedical journals. Included are citations from Index Medicus, International Nursing Index, Index to Dental Literature, HISTLINE, SPACELINE, PREMEDLINE®, AIDSLINE®, BIOETHICSLINE®, and HealthSTAR®.

Military & Government Collection™
The Military & Government Collection provides full text for nearly 400 publications pertaining to all branches of the military and government.. The database also includes full text for 245 pamphlets and offers indexing and abstracts for 500 titles.

The database contains more than 100,000 articles from 59 journals - 48 published by the American Psychological Association (APA) and 11 from allied organizations. It includes all journal articles, letters to the editor and errata from each journal. Coverage spans 1894 to present.
