Requesting A Copy Of Your Transcript
Students who only need an unofficial copy of their academic transcript can click here for instructions on how to print one.
There is a $5 fee each time you request an official transcript at SUNY Ulster.
If you still have questions after reading the following information, please contact the Office of the Registrar.
Official transcripts are never faxed. They are sent first class U.S. mail (unless you provide for express mailing).
How to Request a Transcript
Transcripts must be requested by means of a signed document.
PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST TRANSCRIPTS BY E-MAIL.

At SUNY Ulster, you may request transcripts inone of four ways:

Click here to download and print the Transcript Request Form. Complete and sign it, then send it, along with a photo-copy of an acceptable form of photo ID (as indicated in #3 below). Enclose payment of $5 per transcript (check, money order, or complete the section for your charge card information), and send to the following address:

Or, you can send us a letter with detailed instructions, including your name, current address, daytime phone number, social security number, year of last attendance, the exact address to which the transcript is to be sent, your signature, and a photo-copy of an acceptable form of photo ID (as indicated in #3 below). Enclose payment of $5 per transcript (check, money order, or complete the section for your charge card information), and send to the following address:

Come to the Registrar's Office on the Stone Ridge Campus in Vanderlyn Hall, Room 206, and fill out a Transcript Request Form.
Payment of $5 per transcript can be made by cash, check, or charge.
You must bring a photo ID. Acceptable forms of photo I.D. are:- Driver License
- Driver Permit
- DMV Issued Photo ID
- Student ID
- Fax us your request. You can download and print the Transcript Request Form by clicking here. Complete and sign it, enclose a photo-copy of one of the above acceptable forms of photo I.D. (as indicated in #3 above), and complete the section of the request with your charge card information. Or, send a written request, which must contain all of the information in #2 above, plus your charge card information. (Payment of $5 per transcript is required.)

In a hurry?
If you are in a hurry, we suggest that you use an express mail service (Federal Express or Express Mail) to deliver to us your signed request and a photocopy of an acceptable form of ID as indicated in #3, and a pre-paid overnight mailer addressed to where you want the transcripts sent.
How students can check on the status of your request.
Students can go to BANNER ONLINE to see when their transcripts were sent out by following the steps below:

CLICK: TRANSCRIPT REQUEST STATUS
DATE ORDERED: you will get a DROP DOWN LIST – Pick the date the transcript was ordered
SUBMIT
This page will show the student all transcript requests that were processed on the order date. It will also show the total amount charged, the date sent and the type of transcript processed.
NOTE:
Please understand that in fairness to all, we fill transcript requests in the order in which we receive them. Filling your request can take our office a few days to over a week depending on the time of year.
Please plan ahead.
Please Note: Payment must accompany all requests. Transcripts will not be sent for students who have debts to the College (financial obligations, library books, traffic tickets, equipment, and so forth), until the student clears these debts with the appropriate office. Transcripts will not be issued to students who do not provide us with a photocopy of an acceptable form of ID as indicated in #3
Office Hours
SUNY Ulster's Office of the Registrar is occasionally closed for holidays. Otherwise we are open Monday through Friday throughout the year.
During the Fall and Spring semesters, when credit classes are in session, we are open Monday through Thursday from 8:30am to 7:30pm. On Fridays, between semesters and during the summer, our hours are 8:30am to 4:30pm. We are normally closed for several days between December 24 and January 2. No business is conducted when we are closed. Please plan accordingly.
