Environmental Technology

Online training in water pollution control, solid waste/recycling and hazardous waste operations provide entry level skills and education for those seeking employment as environmental technicians. Course topics include water treatment, disinfection and analysis; wastewater treatment, collection and analysis; landfill/composting operations, household hazardous waste handling; and Hazwoper certification and refreshers, Hazmat and Hazcom. Selected courses are state approved for recertification credits.

The Institute has interest in New York State environmental concerns, and is available to assist local and regional organizations with training, meetings and conferences.
