Programs for Kids & Teens

SUNY Ulster offers courses and camps that have been designed specifically for kids and teens.  Our  College for Kids and Camp Ulster programs provide learning opportunities and fun-filled classes to challenge your child to become a life-long learner. Your child will develop new skills, make new friends, and find how much fun it is to study astronomy, archaeology, robotics or game programming. 

We also offer Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) preparation courses which include all the materials and information your child will need to perform well on the SAT exam.

Our Continuing Education Department offers a number of driver and motorcycle training and safety programs which are open to qualified 16 year olds.


Many Continuing and Professional Education courses for adults are also open to children and/or teens, but are not part of the above programs.

  • Spanish Immersion : Ages 16– Adult
  • Zumba Fitness : Ages 12– Adult
  • Guitar for Beginners: Ages 13 - Adult
  • NEW! Simply Music Beginner Piano Workshop: Ages 7 - Adult
  • NEW! Superhero Drawing Class: Ages 8 - 18

Register early - do it today!
Each class has a minimum required enrollment.
If you find a class you like, encourage a friend to join you.
Sometimes two or three people make the difference between "go" or "cancel."
