The Ulster County Chapter of SCORE will be conducting a FREE seminar on what you need to know and do to obtain financing. Different problems require different solutions. Various types of loans appropriate to satisfy different situations will be explored. Small Business Administration guaranteed loans will also be discussed as will other forms of financing. Take a look at the benefits and sacrifices of small business ownership. Don't start a business without taking this class. An experienced certified business counselor will guide you through the secrets of marketing, accounting, financing, general management, and the initial startup steps necessary to insure a successful business future. The instructor is a business counselor for the Small Business Development Center.

The session will be led by two successful women business owners currently serving as counselors with the Mid-Hudson Small Business Development Center. Learn from their experiences on how to become an expert at balancing the roles of business person, soul mate, community leader, etc. that become critical to managing a successful career and maintain quality of life. Special emphasis will be placed on financial business issues, government programs for women, and coping strategies. The seminar is designed for women who are current business owners and who are ready to take their businesses to new levels of performance.
