Painting the portrait in Adobe Illustrator (CS2) is a course of study for students with prior Illustrator experience and a brave heart! Using all the knowledge and skills acquired in previous Adobe Illustrator courses students will become proficient in creating a self portrait, portrait of a friend or loved one, or of a famous person. We will explore the gradient mesh tool. working with layers, opacity masks, transparency, drawing with the pen tool and gradients to create the final product...the portrait. The Citizen Police Academy, a new community based resource is offering a course that will begin on May 28 and run through July 16 at the Business Resource Center on Ulster Avenue in Kingston.
