Women & Minority Business Institute

The Women & Minority Business Institute (WMBI)is a platform created to address the unique issues that women and minority entrepreneurs and small business owners encounter.

The WMBI brings together and applies the resources of the Mid-Hudson Region Small Business Development Center, universities, private industries, professional and lending institutions, and government to solve business problems and foster entrepreneurship among women and minorities.

It is a forum to discuss and analyze women- and minority-specific issues and generate awareness and understanding of these issues in the community at large.

The WMBI offers no-cost, confidential, personalized business counseling fo new and existing businesses, owned by women and minority.
