As a student athlete competing in the NJCAA inter collegiate athletic program, you'll develop team, leadership and sportsmanship skills that you'll use in the classroom, on the job and throughout life. At SUNY Ulster, athletics and academics are closely aligned to help you succeed.Get moving toward your goal of competing at a higher level by finessing your skills with the support of our dedicated coaches – many of which graduated from SUNY Ulster so we understand the demands of being a student athlete and can help you in the transfer process.
Many of our graduates have gone on to play at private and public institutions across the country. In addition to holding two men's soccer national championships, one of our students captured the 2010 NJCAA Division III National Golf Individual Championship.
Our community college environment provides you with the flexibility to go to school, work, raise a family and live life – and still do what you love most.
You'll have the opportunity to compete against other colleges in the region, New York City and Long Island, and proudly represent SUNY Ulster. Our athletic facilities include the Senate Gymnasium, on-campus baseball and soccer fields, tennis courts, weight lifting and nautilus equipment, and use of a nearby private golf club.
As a student, cheering for your teams adds to your fun college experience. Support your Senators by wearing red, white and blue. There's plenty to cheer about here!
