Career and Job Services
With some 30,000 occupational titles out there, it’s no wonder people have a hard time making career decisions. And even after selecting a career path, the average American is estimated to change careers three to five times in their lives.
SUNY Ulster’s Career Services Department offers free resources and personalized career counseling for students, alumni -- as well as community residents -- to help make career choices.
Our counselors can help with everything from choosing a major that will take you to the career you want, to conducting a job search to find employment in your chosen field. We can help with:
- Making informed career decisions,
- Writing job search letters,
- Practicing job interview skills,
- Providing feedback on your resume and cover letter,
- Searching for jobs, internships and volunteer opportunities, and more.
