Joint Admissions Program

As a freshman at SUNY Ulster, you may apply for Joint Admissions, a cooperative program between two-year and four-year SUNY colleges. Joint Admissions guarantees junior-level admission in a parallel program at a four-year college following completion of an associate degree program at SUNY Ulster. You are required to attain a minimum grade point average in the associate degree program.

SUNY Ulster participates in Joint Admission Programs with the University at Albany and SUNY New Paltz, and SUNY at Plattsburgh. The Institute of Technology at Utica/Rome provides automatic dual admission upon request for all qualifying applicants accepted into two-year A.A., A.S., and A.A.S. degree programs similar to upper-division programs offered at the Institute. Contact the Institute for additional information.

To apply for Joint Admissions, use the SUNY Ulster Application. Complete the Joint Admissions section or enter the college code of the four-year college where you plan to continue your studies in the appropriate field.

If you need further information about this program, contact the Transfer Office.
