The Open Door Policy at SUNY Ulster

SUNY Ulster's open-door policy makes higher education accessible to all motivated students, regardless of previous experience or performance, if you, the student, can benefit from the College's educational programs. One of SUNY Ulster's goals is to equip you with the necessary knowledge and skills to ease your transition either into the job market or into a four-year college.

The basic requirement for admission to degree study is the high school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED). This minimum requirement is needed if you want to enroll in a program of study, called matriculation.

If you have questions, or need advisement,
contact us in the Admissions Office in Vanderlyn Hall (VAN 101).
