Full-Time and Part-Time Study

A full-time student is one who is enrolled in 12 or more credits per semester.

A part-time student is one who is enrolled in 11 or fewer semester credits per semester.

Ordinarily, a full-time student may not, in any given semester, take more credits than are specified by the student's program (normally, up to 18 credits).

If you want to attempt more than 21 credits a semester, you must have the approval of the Associate Dean for Student Services.
